CWind Typhoon

An aluminium catamaran designed to remain at sea for extended periods

Overview

In 2015, CWind added two 23m LoA and two 26m LoA aluminium catamarans from Aluminium Marine Consultants (AMC), a shipbuilding and consulting company based on the Isle of Wight to the fleet. The new, larger vessels have boosted our fleet’s capability and enhanced our ability to serve client requirements.

The CWind Typhoon has an entirely new design; the 25m version incorporates 20-ton cargo capacity, large 18,000 litre fuel oil tanks and the ability to carry 2 x 20’ containers. Combined with above-deck accommodation for 3 crew and 12 passengers, the vessels are able to remain out at sea for extended periods of time, allowing us to complete my jobs at a higher capacity. The CWind Typhoon, like many others in our crew transfer vessel fleet, is equipped with state-of-the-art technology to make it more comfortable and efficient for crew members whilst aboard. We’re incredibly proud of the advancements we’ve made in recent years to provide some of the very best CTVs on the market – and the CWind Typhoon is just one of the many options available to our customers.

CWind vessels can be chartered on their own or in combination with a range of our other service solutions, giving clients greater flexibility than ever before.
