CWind Alliance

A versatile and cost effective MPC 19

Overview

CWind Alliance is part of our fleet of proven MPC 19 resin-infused composite vessels. To date, these vessels have been employed at more than 20 offshore wind farms in the UK and Germany.

The vessel uses a moveable wheelhouse and modular three-section pod system enabling her to perform multiple functions including crew transfer, refuelling (16t fuel capacity), survey with moon pool attachment, dive support and full O&M support. The modular pod design offers exciting operational flexibility as well as enhanced deck space options.

The Senior Project Manager for Siemens Wind Power in the UK during the vessel’s time at London Array, said: “In selecting a vessel for recognition, we reviewed multiple areas in delivery and performance, including HSE performance, cooperation and collaboration with us and our other suppliers, vessel availability over the duration of contract, fuel consumption, vessel capabilities within this complex wind farm location and of course how the crew demonstrated a positive attitude to achieving our goals in Siemens. The CWind Alliance performed to the highest standards in all of these areas and others. This recognition was well earned and is well deserved.”
