Offshore Wind Training

Wind industry training for professionals, by professionals

Offshore wind personnel work in a challenging environment where being able to understand, and safely and effectively implement operational procedures is critical.

To ensure success, staff training needs to be specific, simulate actual conditions, and be delivered by people with real industry experience.

CWind’s National Wind Farm Training Centres (NWFTC) are a one-stop-shop offering a range of industry standard and bespoke GWO accredited courses from basic safety training to advanced upskilling programmes for specialists. We create the most realistic wind energy experience possible, short of actually stepping onto an offshore installation. GWO represents the interests of a group of leading WTG OEM’s and it is mandatory to have completed their safety training course to work in any of their turbines offshore in any capacity.

Through our National Wind Farm Training Centres, we deliver these courses, developed in partnership with a diverse range of facility owners, managers and course content providers, to our own technicians as well as for others across the industry.

Client Feedback

Andrew Greenleaf, Head of Gunfleet Sands Operations “I’d like to thank you for your support on the GWO training last week. To be frank I have achieved something which I didn’t think possible – working at height – and this was wholly down to your support and encouragement – for this I’m grateful.”

Rob Richardson, Deputy Offshore Manager, Galloper “The Best Working at Height course I have attended in my 6 years in Wind Power. Delivery was excellent and tailored to all in the group. I would recommend NWFTC to all my colleagues.”
