Lee joined CWind in November 2014 as Operations Director after 25 years with Siemens, he moved into the position of Managing Director in June 2016. Lee began his career with Siemens as an apprentice in 1987 becoming a Mechanical Engineer working on various large scale machines for the metals industry.
He progressed from the factory floor into roles across the business from Site Supervisor to Site Manager to Construction / Project Manager working on large multi complex projects across the globe including locations such as Brazil and China.
Lee has more than 10 years’ experience in offshore wind following his transfer within Siemens in to work in their then new offshore wind segment. Subsequently he used his vast engineering knowledge to support the construction of the offshore wind farms under planning and construction for subsea works as well as WTG installation, working across the UK, Denmark and Germany.
As Director of Sales at CWind, Andy is responsible for business and project growth at the company. Andy joined the Group in 2000, gaining a wealth of experience managing both telecom and power cable related installation and maintenance projects within Global Marine, before moving across to CWind, the Group’s power focused part of the business, earlier this year.
Prior to joining the Global Marine Group, Andy worked as a Project Manager with a Subsea Pipeline Installation company where he managed a wide variety of installation projects worth in the region of £600million. Andy holds a B.Eng. (Hons) Marine Systems Technology from University of Plymouth.
Lee joined the company in 2012 and has been instrumental in driving forward and developing CWind into the leading offshore wind services provider it is today.
Lee began his career in the shipping industry with Gearbulk, as a graduate trainee, where he stayed for 12 years. Lee held a number of management roles there, before his move across to renewable energy.
Lee brings a wealth of operational and commercial experience accompanied by a can-do attitude and a passion for safety. Lee holds a bachelor degree in law, specialising in the maritime sector.
Henrik joined the CWind team in February 2016. He has more than 15 years of experience in the wind industry, joining Vestas Wind Systems in 2000, initially working as project manager on onshore projects. He moved into Vestas’ offshore wind segment in 2002 and has been involved in the construction of several offshore wind farms since, including North Hoyle and Barrow. Subsequently he joined PMSS as Director and part of the Managing Board.
From 2011 to 2013, Henrik was Project Manager at DONG Energy, overseeing the construction of London Array, the largest offshore wind farm in the world. Most recently, Henrik was the Adwen Project Director responsible for the construction of Borkum West Offshore Wind Farm in the North Sea.
Jeremy joined CWind in October 2014 as a Bid Manager. He has over 25 years’ experience working mainly in bid management and sales roles in the engineering sector, working across a range of disciplines including road and rail engineering, on shore wind and over the past two years as a bid manager specialising in offshore wind. Jeremy currently manages a team of bid managers and proposal engineers at CWind, working closely with other technical, sales and commercial professionals across the business to respond to the wide number of tender opportunities in the offshore wind sector.
